So this year my Daughter turned 13 making me feel super old. She has assisted me with my photos every year. This year was no different. She got the most amazing flowers from her mom and said that the dogtag Ti would look great between the flowers. So this year I am dedicating my photo submission to my wonderful daughter who has a passion for Spyderco.

Thank you so much! I love including my daughter as she has the same passion as her dad. One day she will be old enough to build her own collection!

This is my PM2 in 10V. I use and carry this knife more than any other. There is nothing that compares to 10V in my experience. This is the one knife I would never get rid of.

Hi Guys,

I came into the knife hobby fairly recently, just last year, but I have too many knives already, especially Spydercos (around 20 ish). Since I love taking photographs (Nikon D7500 and Sony RX100 mkIII, and with my trusted Samsung S10+) and love knives, this Calendar Contest was just perfect. I live in a (for Germany anyways) large town, and do not have a garden near my appartment. In Germany, Allotments oder Community Gardens (victory gardens, they were called in the UK during WW2) are a real thing. And since it is in Germany, there even is a law, regarding what to grow and how much space is alloted for growing, leisure and trees/grass.
Anyways, I grow apples, onions, beans, strawberries, blackberries and various herbs and spices or just take a nap and enjoys the scenery. One of my favorite herbs is lemon balm; you can make pesto with it, or drink it as a tea, it always smells very citrusy.
Hence my idea to take the picture with my favorite EDC, the C223CBL, Spyderco Para 3 LW SPY 27 and loads of lemon balm:

I hope you like it!
Hi Malte, welcome to the forum and great photo for the calender contest…I wanted to let you know there is another thread called “Show your vegetable gardens and harvests” where you can post as many photos as you like and we sure would like to see what you grow not to mention the incredible pics you must take…now most of us just use our phones but whatever you decide to use is fine by me…btw my last name is Quattlebaum which is of German origin I believe even though I never have been able to find out what Quattle means 🤣 I do know baum is tree, correct? Anyway hope to see you post some more here on the forum and have a good day or maybe it’s night there 🤷‍♂️ 👊

This photo was taken on a dendritic ice formation on Grange Hall Creek in Northglenn, CO.

In winter the water levels constantly change with freeze/thaw cycles, and so do the patterns in the ice; no two storms or thaws create the same effect.

That day I brought the Stretch 2 XL Nishijin Sprint Run because every blade and handle on this model is different from the next.

Year round I'll carry a knife while shooting photos along the creek, or to cut up and collect trash that flows down the creek. The Pacific Salt 2 works great for the clean-up duty.

Good luck to everyone who enters the contest!

Knifejoy neon green CPM-20cv Lil’ Native
C230GPNGR
This my favorite photo of my exclusive neon green lil Native from Knifejoy. The leaf shaped blade is at home with these Haustas. The 20cv steel is a stainless steel that stays sharp and cuts like a dream. The Lil’ Native is an excellent piece and with the green scales it just pops. I’d like to thank Spyderco for producing all the different flavors of knives. The lil Native has grown to be one of my favorite small knives for any occasion.
