You guys are convincing me that I need to hold a Manix 2 at some point.
The Wegner always feels best in my hand. But as far as overall ergonomics, meaning various comfortable positions for different tasks - the PM2 wins.

When I look at ergonomics, I tend to like to take into consideration the type of knife it is, the size, it’s primary uses as a cutting tool that it is. My favorite edc sized folder with perfectly done ergonomics for its size and carry is the Caly jr., so technically that has my favorite ergonomics looking at it that way. But just best ergonomics in general I’m gonna assume is the fb05 for me…

For Spyderco's lineup of folders, Stretch 2 for me.

I have regular "length" but thin hands so it's a bit different for me.
Even if I find the blade too thick to my taste, the Para 3 fits me like a glove.
Then it's Domino, PM2, Native 5.
PS : all of them have custom scales that either have contouring or a different chamfering so, might count. Only the Domino has a custom scale that is the exact same :

Objectively, what is your favorite Ergonomic knife?
Aqua Salt.
That would make a good chef knife.
You know a handle design is good when it feels good to my diminutive hands and Vivi's. And Mongo you may be on to something there. Would need a taller blade which would shift the balance point. I may have to dig mine out today when making mother's day dinner and try it in a pinch grip.

The Native 5 LW isn’t one people seem to like much for ergos. I find it just disappears in my medium-sized hands. By that I mean I don’t have to think about where my hand is on the knife in relation to the edge while working with it and changing grips. I don’t have a regular Native, might have to change that, going forward, but I really like the LW.

Lil’ Temp 3 LW. Fills the hand quite well and the lack of finger grooves means it works well in any grip.
Hmm, I haven't run across one of these before. It looks promising.
This is currently my "ergonomic" favorite as well, for all the excellent reasons 'p_atrick' laid out. One of the most comfortable folding knives I've ever come across for sustained use.
The compression lock tab is also larger and more accessible than on other models, which to me plays into ergonomics as well. As a lefty, this is the only comp lock I can comfortably disengage with thick gloves on, for example.
Here's the lock tab with a PM2 and Caribbean for comparison:

EDIT: This ended up as a double post but I will edit it to suggest the Manix2, it is awesome.

I think the Shaman is where it’s at when it comes to choils, and the Rock Jumper is where it’s at when it comes to to not choils.
Overall, I prefer a swell to points, and I prefer no or minimal pinky hook.

I noticed this with my Crucarta PM2. Huge improvement.
Great comparison shot, too!

Enuff 1 by a landslide, for me.
Then the Stretch 2 XL, P.I.T.S. Folder, Manix 2 LW, Schempp Bowie, Autonomy 1, Tenacious, Mule Team with Halpern scales... probably others.
