Hey, All:

I go away to the SHOT Show for a few days and this is what happens...

Interestingly, a few years ago a friend of mine introduced me to an author named Roger Ma. Roger was writing the book "The Zombie Combat Manual" and asked me if I'd review the close-quarters combat section for "technical accuracy." Although I am not into the whole zombie thing, I did him that favor and I am credited as a subject matter expert in the acknowledgements of that book.

With that said, my top tips for avoiding zombies:

Turn off the TV.
Don't go to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Ruger 10-22 with lots of hi-cap magazines.

Stay safe,

Mike

LOL, thanks much for chiming in, MJ! I tried your first tip, turning off the TV, and sure enough, my zombie problem resolved itself. No knife techniques needed.

Now I'm asking myself if I really need Ma's book on Zombie Combat or not...it has 4-1/2 stars though...

I think the book contemporary knife targeting is also pretty adaptable on zombies. In the animal kingdom there are zombie making parasites and fungi taking over their host...pretty scary stuff.

Hmm🤔 I’m not sure I’m buying his answer. I’m sure he’d retreat to his Spyderco lab and test out new blade options for skull penetration on pig skulls. After that he’d send out the mule Team army to capture umm let’s say undead test subjects. After that being the knife genius that he is he’d say NOPE, lock his lab door and say a thankful prayer for the makers of doomsday peppers series.

Sigh tried turning off the TV but nope still have a zombie walking around my house with a small glowing screen in one hand. Looks suspiciously like my teenage daughter.
