Quite in the line what has been said already:

I would by Spyderco torx for sure.... if I hadn't all the torx drivers I need already.

Actually mine are from Wera... and not from Wiha like most seem to prefer. Any reason for that? The single Wiha torx driver I do own seems to be of practically the same (very good) quality as my Weras...

Now, a regular production Spyderco work mat for maintaining knives would really tic a few boxes for me.

Now that, I would be interested in. Especially if it rolls up easily and had some slight trays for screws and parts. Could have some nice diagrams for décor.

Maybe little raised corner notches for the Sharpmaker to set in? Edge is a ghost themed? :thinking

In my (somewhat limited) experience, Wera is as good, if not better quality tools than Wiha, but it seems Wiha has more exposure in the shops I frequent. This seems to be especially for smaller hand tools and mini size bits. For larger tools, the playing field seems to even out between the two.
Actually, I just ordered a new ratcheting wrench set from Wera, but it's in the medium size range for a slightly tougher jobs than servicing knives.

I would buy a Spyderco (or Byrd) multitool!
Bring em back.

Even though it no longer automatically voids the warranty, I don't believe Spyderco really wants us taking apart their knives, based on previous comments.

I'd not be likely to buy a set with Spyderco branding, but that is not a hard "No". Also, even though most of us already have sets, new comers to Spyderco would be encouraged to buy a quality set from Spyderco. Outside of Wiha, there is a US firm Chapman Tools that offers custom branded sets of quality bits and drivers. The wood cased sets are especially nice.

I already have Wiha bits too (and I am pretty sure that Spyderco would not start making the bits - that would make little sense anyhow), but I would not mind a nicer driver. The one from Wiha is way too thin/narrow and the one from iFixIt is also not perfect.

I wouldn’t expect Spyderco to develop and create their own set of torx bits or a torx hand tool. It’s just not their market.

If they worked with a reputable company to put their logo on a set of that company’s tools, it would be literally only be a Spyderco “branded” set of another companies tools. I’d probably buy it just for the sake of it being Spyderco branded.

(If it was a generic no name set of tools with their logo on it, I would have little to no interest as I would not trust the quality of the tools. I really would only want to buy if they produced the set with a brand known for producing quality torx bits)

I've got multiple sets of Wiha drivers and bits...plus two different Fix It Sticks sets. I'm set on drivers/bits and I also wouldn't expect Spyderco to jump into that category.

The Boker branded Wiha set seems pretty nifty for what it is...and if Spyderco did something similar I wouldn't fault them, but as previously stated, I also wouldn't be a customer.

I just want more new models and collaborations!

I have a Wera set as well (in addition to a few other brands). I think Wiha pushed into the US market in a big way and Wera is just dipping a toe in the market. Wera quality is equally as good and often a bit less expensive depending on the seller.

the problem with products like this is higher costs just for branding and more hands being involved. i'd rather just have a wiha set at wiha costs than a wiha set that's substantially more expensive because it has a spyder on it or a lower quality set that costs as much as a wiha set because it has a spyder on it.
i prefer spyderco for my knives because they make great knives and other brands for other tools that they do well. no need to cross-brand tool companies just to pay more for them.

I'm already sorted with multiple sets of quality bits and drivers.
