I agree officiating was like a high school game . Terrible . I’m a Big Ten guy but UNC deserved the win .

Oh man, absolute shocker!! The Zags go down!!
And, so does another #1 Seed Arizona!
This really opens the field for Duke to win it all imo...

Duke’s chances did get better . Tonight is going to be awesome . This year has been so full of upsets , makes the tournament so much more interesting and fun . Dan

Still up at 1:20 am!! Still in shock!
If we (Carolina) can defeat St.Peters Sunday, we will be in the Final Four!!!
I know St.Peters are the Cinderella of the Tourney as they've even knocked off Kentucky! But, I really think we're gonna put them in their place come Sunday!!
I really thought UCLA would be the end of the road for my Heels - heck, I thought all along we would be incredibly lucky to win the first round against Marquette and we would for sure get bounced the 2nd round of the Tourney. I mean, we weren't even ranked this year and suffered multiple 20+ point losses! But, hats off to Coach Hubert Davis! He really knew how to guide them all along. Carolina has came such a very long way this season. Like Caleb Love. He saved our bacon tonight. He scored 27 points in the 2nd half!!
Can't wait till Sunday! Go Heels!!!
I don't think I've ever been as proud of any Tar Heel team ever.....even the '82 team with Michael Jordan, James Worthy, Sam Perkins etc...

Love is the real deal for Carolina . I stayed up for the game myself , glad I did . This has been one of the best tournaments for quite sometime. I’ve lost track of how many close games have been played deciding the winner at the very end . So many teams playing with a lot of heart . MG2

Yes sir. He has really came on lately.
Man, your right, Tourney is also wide open like it never has been. St.Peters could actually win it all.
Really excited to see the Houston vs Villanova game this evening and, then of course Duke vs Arkansas
I hope the Razorbacks finish Duke off. But. I have a feeling Duke will win.

Ya know, there's a real silver lining to have your team or even conference as you say, out of it. And, that's the ability to be able to just sit there and watch the games peacefully .....lol, I'm serious bro.
I can get a little worked up when Carolina plays
But, whenever they aren't playing, it's much more relaxing.

I thought all along Illinois was a great pretender. Conference tournament was the writing on the wall . It’s been refreshing to watch teams play at such a high level .

I hear ya Daniel. It's just sad that some teams, whom are just outstanding- all it takes is one bad night!
And, what's worse (imo) are the smaller teams that get into the Tourney by winning their conference Tourney
But, what sux is that there may be one VERY dominant team in that small conference and, they in turn have one bad night and the scrub team that got lucky gets to go to the big dance instead of the dominant team.
Not sure how to address that situation.

That is true and Mid majors get over looked at times to benefit the larger conferences because of ratings and money .

Daniel, what happened to Miami?
I saw they were up at halftime 35-29
Then I find out they scored a whopping 15 points in the 2nd half? Sounds like they just imploded?

Carolina defense and a guy named Love ! They kicked butt . Looks like classic matchups in Final 4 .

Final Four has usual suspects. Let’s hear some predictions . My guess UNC vs Kansas

Gosh, I hope your right!
It's an all Blue Blood Final Four!
I gotta say though, in any sport, it's incredibly hard to beat a good time twice in a row. Especially a rival.....
That being said, I really do believe we have a shot at defeating Duke. But, it's gonna have to be a tremendous team effort .....we gotta have big games from Manek, Bacot, Love & Davis. Plus, we gotta have a little luck too. Because, if Im being real I have to admit that Duke has more talent than we do.
It's gonna be exceedingly hard to defeat them twice in a row. But, I did have a feeling we were going to put St. Peter's in their place today and we did. Hard.
Carolina played brilliantly today.
I'm just not sure how I can predict any games though. I'm far too emotionally tied to UNC....
I do feel though, that Kansas will defeat Villanova-ONLY because one of Nova's starters will more likely than not out of the final four game and, I don't think the Wildcats are very deep.
Other than that, I'm just pulling hard for Carolina.
This will be far & away the biggest game between Duke we've ever played. Bragging rights for DECADES are on the the line Saturday night, not to mention advancing to the National Championship Game

It is going to be a great game Duke losing at home is a big motivator and they have played better ever since the loss to UNC . Love and Davis , got to have a great game on both sides of court so Manek and Bacot can open up the offensive spread . I have a feeling it is going to be a very defensive game and possibly a close one.

I hope we can find a way to win, Dan.
I tell ya, I just couldn't fathom Carolina winning it all.
Can you even imagine? It would be the most remarkable Tar Heel team ever and that's saying something.

Final Four can be brutal . I still think Kansas can be beat as long as opposing team converts on turnovers and has a high free throw percentage. I think they are vulnerable when the tempo is slowed down . They are going to be hard to beat if they play a running transition game . I’m pulling for UNC , if they can beat Duke on their home court no reason they can’t on a neutral court . A lot of great basketball coming , can’t wait . Dan

Dan, my Heels have never lost in the Big Easy
We're 4-0 better than anyone else in New Orleans
We won it all there in '82 & '93
I gotta hope the Big Easy still has a thing for us

That’s good omen ! Let’s stick with it go Heels ! Curbelo at Illinois is going portal . Guess Underwood hurt his feelings . If they pick up the guards they are contending for and Kofi stays on board next year mat be promising. They also have another bigs possibly. Got my. Fingers crossed. Dan
