I like mine a lot. So smooth. I do take a little extra care when closing, but don't have any issues with it. I hit mine with some ultra fine sandpaper to knock the shine down on the micarta. Too much polish for me. I'd like to see more bearings in backlocks in the future.

Any pics of a Spyopera next to a Delica?

I really like mine. It takes me back to the old days in its design.

The Spyopera has a shorter handle, but a bit more cutting edge.

The one thing about the Spyopera that I didn’t like was the lack of jimping. Some will prefer it that way, but to me, it just feels a bit off.

I have one of the right hand only spyoperas. The only thing I do not like about it is the way the ergonomics interact with my hand. When I place my thumb on the ramp, my pinky finger tries to wrap around the back corner of the knife. This doesn't bother me for most short tasks but after cutting for a bit, it becomes uncomfortable. A lanyard helps some but not a lot.
Other than that I really like the knife

I really like mine (good ergos, great blade design and edge geometry), but it is right-hand only and I wish I waited for the updated version with the lefty clip option.

Thanks Mikey , this comparison shot puts the Spyopera in a different perspective . It is a beautiful knife in many regards . I can see the appeal better than before . MG2

You're welcome, MG2.
Yup, the Spyopera is both classy and a capable cutting tool.
