does anyone know what the price was before the new year price increase? i don't think products should go up in price before they are even released. we've been waiting for this one for a long time now.

They possibly jumped the gun on an official release date?
that wouldn't surprise me.
I've also seen some will known dealers add things to their site, when they get their manufactures shipping notice, but don't actually have the items yet. That is also a possibility. But I can't say that I've seen WoK do that.
i should clarify that wasn't a statement against this dealer and was meant to be more of a comment about the fact that we've seen dealers jump the gun on stuff like this.

Can´t wait till you guys actually get the S35VN Resilience and to hear your thoughts and impressions!!

Still really love my S35VN Tenacious - it is pretty much perfect in every way: Greatly executed linerlock, amazing fit and finish and the S35VN is a so well balanced steel.
Hope the Resilience will be just like that! (I actually do like larger folders, but a big part of this is about actual cutting edge - and since my Tenacious practically offers the same length as the Endura in that regard (on the Spyderco site it says 2mm less, but my examples edge is almost identical in length with my Enduras) I am happy as it is - since I am not opposed to compact carry too).
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Thank you Sir, I just ordered. I've had great service from Knife Joker in the past. Glad I stayed up late. I've been waiting for this one since they first announced it.

I hope to see some of the smaller “budget” knives get an upgraded steel.

Ditto. especially the Astute! Of course, the design of the Astute is so sublime that it also begs to be s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d by about another inch in overall length.

And for the record, Way Of Knife has removed the "limited edition" error on their listing.

I don’t buy Chinese made knives as a matter of principle. I did, however, break that rule when I purchased my S35 Tenacious. I was so impressed by the fit and finish of that knife, that I knew I’d buy a Resilience the first chance I had.

Looks like the floodgates are open on this one. Mine shipped yesterday. Tracking says delivery Tuesday, but I'm guessing Saturday.
