1st gen Endura with a fully serrated blade. I'm thinking it was 1994. The knife is at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean somewhere between Washington state and Alaska.

I lost a Swiss army knife on the middle fork of the Stanislaus River in the Sierra Nevada one time. I was a kid at summer camp and my counselor "accidentally" chucked it over the bridge. Lose some, learn some! Never brought another knife to camp.

Manix 2 S30V Still in my collection.

Probably one of the best and most ergo friendly designs to ever come out of Spyderco!

PE Delica in AUS-8, with the integral pocket clip. This was back in 1997.

I purchased a blue FFG Delica 4 about 2010. I also have a Salt 1. I got the Salt mainly for the yellow. Drop a yellow knife in the woods and you have at least a ghost of chance of finding it. I lost my blue Delica while hiking Surgarloaf Mountain in Heber Springs Arkansas in 2017. I will no longer use a pocket clip for this reason. I replaced the Delica with an orange 4. A blue is in the safe unused.

Burple Military last April. Followed pretty quickly by the Burple PM. I didn’t know anything about different kinds of steel and just really liked the colour. :)

That's a great start! What's next? Blurple Para 3?

I used the Police model in mid 90's, on a loan for a backpacking trip. Litte did I know that some 20 years later I would be here.

I purchased my first Spyderco, all black S30V PM2, late 2015 early 2016? Native 5 LW and Manix 2 LW shortly after; possibly as I was wating for the PM2 to arrive?

My first spyderco and first “expensive” knife was a blue frn endura in vg10. I thought i was crazy for spending $60 on a knife! Those were the days...

CO2 Mariner without the shackle key slot in the scales...

Then a Worker, then an Endura, then a raft load of edges for Africa... :)

Burple Manix actually! Then I branched out a bit.

I think my favourite is my Maxamet blade swapped into Fluted CF Native, but I probably actually use the Burple family more.

Was that from the Maxamet Native LW?

I haven't actually tried S90V or S110V, but I've heard great things about Maxamet!

Paramilitary 2 Jade M4 Exclusive...I signed up for the wait list 18 months in advance...I knew I wanted a Para2 and the M4 and Jade seemed liked the perfect trigger.

40+ Spydies later and it's still all about the steel...I love what Spyderco exclusively brings as a production company...time tested ergonomic designs in industry pushing steels.

Aus8 molded-in clip se dragonfly, early/mid 90s. Gave it to my oldest son, it was lost at work one day. He still carries a spyderco most days. It was his first spyderco, too

Mine was a VG-10 Delica 4, followed shortly by a PM2. And the rest as they say, is history :D
