Old but useful, I've used it many times before kindof buying every thread options for imperial and metric system :squinting-tongue

Taïchung uses M2 for clip screws most of the time, sometimes M2.3. I don't have the Carribean to check but since you've said 0.76", it's definitely M2.

I've created a kit with every screw size Spyderco uses, from Golden, Seki, China and Taïchung. I just can't find any 6-32 screws with the right countersunk head :disappointed .
Thank you so much for the info Ramonade, I think I'll start looking for some longer M2 screws!

Cheers, Doug
No worries, I went crazy on screws personally :rofl

It's a 100° taper, not that knowing that actually makes finding them any easier.

100° taper and pretty small head diameter compared to what I've been able to find !
That might help me find longer screws for when I make thicker scales and still want the heads to be flush though, thanks !
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Checking RN

Results for Military 2 :

- Pivot is T15 with 8-32 threads
- Body are T8 with 4-40 threads (like on Manix, PM2 and Para 3)

And to Dodge : Yeah I've been redirected to their website many times, but I've tried to not buy from the USA just because of the crazy shipping fees on most websites. I might end up doing it anyways just for the 100° taper !

So, the pivot screws are just like the Spyderco Military ones, except the head is flat?
And the body screws are exactly like the Paramilitary 2 ones?

The pocket clip itself looks like it's the same as the Paramilitary 2 one as well

That's it yeah, it's countersunk heads for the pivot but same thread :) and exact same screws for the body and clip than the PM2 exactly.

Walker - C22CF sprint run screw sizes?

And lil' nilakka screw size for the pocket clip?
Current favorite: Manix 2 with carbon fiber scales and cru-ware.

Thanks everyone,
I have tried several brands of aftermarket scales for my pm2 . But always the stock screws are to short. They don’t have enough thread length to reach the 2 standoffs.
If I can find the right size and thread series I ca buy some slightly longer ones and cut them to fit.

Para3 Lightweight stop pin screws:

T6 button head x 2-56 thread, which is the same as the clip screws for many US-made folders. The clip screws are a little longer than the P3LW stop pin screws but if you're replacing only one it shouldn't need to be shortened.

Hi everyone!
So this thread has helped me and driven me a bit crazy only because 1/5" is not a standard in fastener measurement. I'm an Aircraft Tech by trade and fasteners are a big and important part of my career. With that said here are (hopefully) some corrections of this thread with MY finding from MY particular knives and fasteners that worked for ME. Just sayin. Just a disclaimer. These measurements are from my knives that were produced from the beautiful city of Golden, Colorado.

Military 2:
Pivot:
8-32 x 13/64"
Flat Head 100 deg
T-15 (TORX)

Body:
4-40 x 7/32"
Flat Head 100 deg
T-8 (TORX)

Paramilitary 2 & 3:
Pivot:
6-32 x 13/64"
Flat Head 100 deg
T-8 (TORX)

Body:
4-40 x 7/32"
Flat Head 100 deg
T-8 (TORX)

Shaman:
Pivot:
6-32 x 1/4"
Flat Head 100 deg
T-10 (TORX)

Body:
4-40 x 3/16"
Button Head
T-8 (TORX)

Clip screws not included because I haven't measured...
