FYI I asked St. Nick's Knives about the weight and liners, here is their response,

"Sorry he was off, it’s 2.8oz and yes it has liners. They are black to go along with the rest of the hardware."

Not a bad idea at all. Some wear on the DLC would probably look better than the uncoated SUS410 after scratching.

Interesting that the liners and lockback/back spacer is black. Has that been done before? It seems that would add to the cost...

Nice! I have one on the way as well. I pretty much wasn't going to sleep worth a darn if I didn't just go ahead and pull the trigger last night.

Was the only previous G10 Delica the green one?

I see webpage has been updated. Looks like the coating is TiCN rather than DLC.

The HAP40/SUS410 laminate steel isn't necessarily new to the exclusive Delica market, but this is the first time there has ever been a TiCN Coated HAP40/SUS410.

Oof. That's a nice knife and a nice combo, but that price is a non-starter for me.

Was on my way to buy my first Delica and somehow glossed over the price.

TiCN? Had and have some DLC blades. Solid coating in my experience. Never had a TiCN. OP, may want to change the title...

Did a quick look at the Interwebs, comparing the two coatings. Should hold up similarly; DLC seems to have some advantages when exposed to heat and acid (neither of which should be an issue); but some older knife forum posts indicate that DLC holds up better.

Any feedback from those who have both?

Had a good bit of wear on one of my older knives, but never penetrated the coating.

Yeah...I received an email a little while ago stating "sorry he miswrote. It is indeed TiCN."

I guess I'll be seeing what TiCN is like.

I love me some Delica, but 190 is just too much to get on board. If this was a new steel maybe. I'm glad i have a foliage green G10 Delica already.

Red G10 and Black Blade/Hardware is my kryptonite. Just ordered a second one. Had to do it. No choice.

Lulz you are insatiable my friend. You're developing quite the collection. I'm a fan of red and black too. I need to stop looking at this knife before I buy one.

Money is the only thing that's really stopping me. Just picked up a knife day before yesterday, and I've got a rex45 on preorder. That and I'd obsolete a few of my Delicas, if I had this one I doubt I'd carry the others much.
