I hate it.

Stretch 1 was a choil 2nd knife, but Sal went and over-sized the choil on yet another knife, now the primary handle grip looks too off-set from the cutting edge, like so many other Spyderco's. That was actually why I liked the 1st Stretch so much anyway.

The reason people didn't buy Stretch 1 is because it was competing with the Endura and Delica but was 40 dollars more expensive, not because of the design.

have both, prefer less belly on the original blade.
like the narrower space between the choils on the new version.
extra handle length is nice if you are not using choils.

Only if they could do it in LC200N. The Stretch wouldn't be the Stretch if it wasn't FFG, and that just can't happen with H-1.

My ZDP-189 FRN Stretch 2 arrived today from NGK. As with the G-10 version, it's somewhat bigger and heavier (106 grams vs 96 grams) than the original FRN one. Here's a couple pictures of both...

I've got one in VG10 FRN on it's way in the mail... so excited.
I love the look and design of the Stretch2 for sure.
The FRN handles are very appealing to me, as my first intro to this material
is my Delica4... I really like these handles.
