If it would help make the business case I would be happy to commit to buy this in both HAP40 and Super Blue.

The more I think about this one though, the more I realize how bad I want it. I think this would be an instant sell out of 1200 pc run. It would really be a one off example. Maybe to make it easier on Seki's production schedule and factory, they could plan a couple runs... Superblue, HAP40, maybe something else too?

Can Spyderco do micarta? I would love that as a handle material but think I read somewhere that this was an issue.

No matter the handle material I would love something polished instead of peel ply.

They have done it in the past, but it can expand/shrink very slightly when wet/dry so Sal isn't as fond of it as I am. I've never had and issue with any of my micarta Spydercos and would like some more.

Pretty please Sal ;)

They still do Micarta on current fixed blades, but those are pinned.

I would love micarta if possible, but if it is not are there any other materials other than g10 that spyderco uses regularly? I would rather not pay cost of cf unless it was the smooth stuff from the caly series.

I'd rather see a Temperance 2 in Hap40. More useful of a blade shape and Hap40 is a great use steel.

I wouldn't even really mind whatever steel were used, but I've been really happy with Hap40 so far!
I'm with ya, I'll take it in any steel, or color G10.....they do still have them at the bentoboxshop .....I've been right on the verge of ordering one quite a few times, but that 399$ has kept me from pulling the trigger...sooner or later I'll break down if it doesn't disappear, or we don't get a new version.
