What are your thoughts on the Blackhawk Bewharned you designed?

Was it not different enough to be included in the video or were you just trying to avoid comment since you no longer work for Blackhawk?

The Yojimbo 2 is my favorite choice for a dedicated SD folder.

Michael Janich's approach is incredibly thoughtful, and the video does a great job of explaining why every single aspect of the knife's design is the way it is.

Because I bought and carry my Yo2 as a dedicated SD folder, I have never actually cut anything with it! That seems a real shame, as it seems like a fantastic slicer, with excellent geometry. I've been very tempted to get a 2nd one and put it to work as a "user," and see how it works out for regular EDC.

Oh what the heck!
Just placed an order 5mins ago, one Yo2 coming in... I've been pondering this for waaaaay too long. My only gripe is the S30v.. (don't shoot me guys) because I like VG10 more. There's no real reason, and no need to get scientific about the steels. Only S30v I really edc is my Dodo, others are either vg10 or H1. Just a personal preference.

But hey, I really, really like the design, and I've been wanting this from the beginning, so maybe it's time for some more CPM S30V :D

And the thing that tipped me over was that Mike Janich's video explaining all the finesses of the design, and this thread. So thanks alot guys :D :D

I have had one for quite awhile, really enjoyed the video. I am going to order another for the left side as well. I also own the ronin, which is a great fixed blade.
