With there being only one distributor of these and with that distributor being located across the pond from here I wonder how much it will cost to get one of these in my hand? Hmmm... So it will get shipped from Colorado to the UK and then back to Colorado? Seems silly. :) We shall see.

I went to his website and all the prices were in pounds so it looks like I am buying it from the UK.

That price isn't as bad as I expected.

To be honest.

Since the association of the name "Ray Mears" and Bushcraft has yet to impress me, "I'll save my money and pass on this one.

BTW, anyone know what were the folders that Ray's "expensive website" used to promote, before the Spyderco manufactured "Wolfspyder exclusive"?

I emailed them last night and they confirmed that if you live outside the EU then you don't have to pay UK tax. Therefore you can deduct 20% from the price (£112 instead of £140), so it should come to about $160 + shipping. Make sure you place your order by email :)

Hah! For once the boot is on the other foot and us European bods have the advantage ;)

Just kidding- Even though my idea of 'bushcrafting' is staying in a hotel that doesn't have a restaurant, I'll be getting one of these. :D
Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

Quite.

Also- the classic novel Pride & Prejudice & Zombies is actually an accurate tale of British history....But we just don't make a big thing about totally whupping the Zombie Apocalypse in time for afternoon tea.

Rick Grimes?...Rank amateur, what?.... (I need a smilie with a monocle and top-hat for these occasions)

Cool video and I like the part where we see the guy in the Captain America tee shirt doing quality control on the WolfSpyder. Great knife.
