I owned a 65 coupe as well as a 66 both with 289's. Loved the styling but well ... I won't say what I thought about every other aspect of the car. I know that was a long time a go but since then I have a had a few more fords come and go, cars, pick ups and box vans and I have to say without exception that I have never had such an unreliable vehicle as a Ford. They have just let me down so many times, every one was a complete disaster. I like the styling of the new Mustang but I would likely go to the Camaro (if I was going to go that route) just because my experience with GM has been much more positive.

Buy a Ford, buy the best, drive a mile, and walk the rest.

It's perfectly fine to prefer bow ties. Look at Pee Wee Herman.

Ford's quality has come a long long way...If I were to ever buy a North American car companies car, I would likely look at Fords first. I also find their interior plastics to be slightly less repulsive than most...
