Let's just say someone would have to be totally bat poop crazy to pull the trigger on it. ;) I don't think a PE Goddard Jr is worth anywhere near that, and the PS is about 10X more common than the PE.

As for the clip, Spyderco and their makers in Japan have a tendency to use whatever they have on hand at the time a batch of knives is produced. Most of my micarta Goddards have black clips, only one has a sliver clip.

As a super Goddard fan,

Goddard only two burgundy is the Papa Goddard in Zytel and Baby in Micarta.

PE Goddard Jr was limited run and Mrs Goddard sold 2nds with the notch on the back of the blade near the hole.
