I do agree that it is a VERY right handed design...but I love Gayle Bradley's designs and materials...especially M4. And having used a lot of right handed knives I have become pretty good at opening using the hole with the middle finger of my left hand, reaching under and "flicking".

YES! +1 I too am looking forward to it. However, I wonder if Spyderco has ever considered a clip pouch? Especially since they brought the clip to the whole game in the first place.DeathBySnooSnoo wrote:Don't worry I'm right there with you on the no clip for this knife. But I am excited for the pouch...though I think that a black version of what they did for the Kiwi would be just fine.

A clipped pouch could be interesting if it was done right...something that kept the lip of the pouch right at pocket height so that you just had to reach in and pull it out...I like it.xceptnl wrote:YES! +1 I too am looking forward to it. Though something like that could end up adding a fair amount to the cost as it would require probably better leather, more of it, and a clip....the kiwi pouch was just suede, 2 small pieces stitched together. I figure dye it black, and it will do the job nicely...plus keep costs to a minimum.
I would be good either way really.

Sorry to sidetrack the thread. I am on a clipless knife kick lately, however I am not liking the SAK and Kiwi taking over my 5th pocket and moving my Mini-tool to another pocket to clang around with change and misc. I think I am going to continue to hunt for a multi-purpose WH clip pouch on the secondary market to use on all my clipless blades.DeathBySnooSnoo wrote:A clipped pouch could be interesting if it was done right...something that kept the lip of the pouch right at pocket height so that you just had to reach in and pull it out...I like it.

In what appears to be a Sign from The Gods, my new jeans once again have a watch pocket that can hold a knife just the Air's size...xceptnl wrote:Sorry to sidetrack the thread. Yet like one of the classical Greek tortures, there is no Air to put in there.
