Finally got to work on my persistence to join the rest of my value folder wood scale family. Went with a nice piece of Texas yellowheart wood, but decided to take some inspiration from my all time favorite production knife, the Buck Strider, and give it more of a gunstock butt end and straight top line.
Almost done except for applyings some coats of Tru-Oil and polishing.

Its the hat we make them wear. Though it makes them look the part it really fills up the field of view from the back seat... I know. When my driver wont budge, I hit him with the Grey Poupon and that usually gets him to sit lower in the seat. Hope the tip helps you too. lol

Top three going by pocket-time (update October 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endela SE (VG10), Manix 2 LW (REX45)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1)
I liked the look and feel a lot, but the action and stability were not good enough,
maybe also because of the crack through the pivot, hrhr... so i had to make a new
set of scale from a more solid material (polished g-10). now its absolutely one
of my favourite edc folders.

I've got a few Spydies with wooden handles, but don't have too many pictures of them...
I do have some older pictures of my Manix 2 XL indoors and outdoors in the sun, so I'll share them in the meantime :)
