People keep teasing me with that M4 Millie...just not nice!

Hmm, 2012? I'm guessing another Millie...but what configuration...hmmm.

lokks like the same material thats on the CF stretch. It is just like G-10 with Cf pattern, but I like it. I did not get in on this. I'd prefer the Para2. I think my XHP millie is enough; not really a big fan of big knives.

Congrats to everyone thats getting one though. They are nice, just not my favorite cup of tea

Love my Para 2 in 390. Not sure I will keep the 390 Millie as I already have a S30V and XHP. Kinda over did it on pre-orders. Brown Para 2, Orange Para 2, Meerkat, ZT561. That 390 is great stuff though can't wait to get it in hand. Might change my mind once it's here.

Nope. :) The question was: "Nice Millie. I thought I read somewhere that it has a silver clip instead of black. Is that correct?" and the answer was "Yup" to silver.

SFO will sell you black or chrome clips, and STR makes a really neat titanium low-ride clip replacement. :spyder:

Here's a quick unboxing/first look video. I'm not happy with the quality, but it is not too bad. This was done with a phone, and next time I'll go back to a camcorder (or figure out how to use the phone's videocam better).

Notice any subtle differences in build? Sometimes those constant quality improvements just sneak their way in, like with the BG-42 Mili.
Comment: build quality on the two I can speak to is very, very high, as good or better than any Military I've bought or handled. Here's a difference that I decided to splice onto the end of the video, just for you. ;) This is the quietest Military I own. That seems to be because the locking leaf has less spring tension than my other Militarys (which date from mid/late 90s to current production). I included a comparison of my S90V sprint, which locks up with a very loud thwack, to this M390 DLE, which is positively quite. I would say it is fully safe, strong and reliable, but it is very much more quiet. Look at the last couple of minutes for that comparison. :spyder:

Hahaha, I always had the idea of doing a locking sound comparison between my millies.

That helps and gives me the answer that I want. I was hoping for the silver clip. Thanks - Mike

Thanks for the Vid !

The last military I got(brown XHP) locks up very quite also. All of my others have that twack that your S90V does.

It is locking up fine, but I do miss the loud twack. I much prefer it over a sticky lock though, as a couple of my Militaries have had.

Thanks for the video! Interesting note about the locking click sounds. I remember the old partially serrated, DLC Militarys had quite a bit more lock tension and they really cracked open!
