Isn't Spyderco missing a trick here? I'm sure there is someone left in Golden who could release a pre-written statement about what they are planning to release and what's on show at SHOT? Why not have live tweets or Facebook from the show? Seems crazy to rely on your distributors to make press releases for you ;)
My spydies: Squeak, Tenacious, Terzuola, D'Allara, UKPK CF peel-ply pre-production, UKPK CF smooth pre-production, UKPK G10 orange leaf-blade, UKPK FRN grey drop-point, UKPK FRN maroon leaf-blade, Bug ... all PE blades :)

A stealth titanium Chaparral? Does "stealth" mean that it will be darkened/colored/coated? That sounds interesting - I'd like to see some pics...

Except it would feel far less custom than writing your own article/update. It's not difficult to put words coherently on a page. I do it almost every day. :p

Such a report would also be VERY long as these personal accounts are typically only a snippet of what they found interesting. They don't even include reflections.

Here we go!

Every year in January we attend the Shooting Hunting Outdoor Trade show. Here is the Spyderco news!

The fluted titanium military will be delayed because the coloring process is being changed. There will be a flat ground version of endurance and delica in plain edge with black handles. Chinese Baliyo pens are delayed because of QC issues. Matriarch C12sbk will have an Endura handle and mini model C162sbk. Sp14sbk is being upgraded with 4 way clip, skeletonized liners and beefier blade. Cricket will be offered with glass fiber handle. Caly 3.5 in carbon fiber. There will be a C146CLP Szabo folder in the summer. A titanium handle with 3v blade msrp 399 . Then there is a stealth chaparral with titanium handle C152. Steel will be XHP carpenters steel.
Pink squeak with portion for breast cancer in the summer. Lionspy will be in soon! Ulize is about a police model size with G10 handles and the blade is almost wavy, slightly recurred blade regular item. Man bug will be available in ZDP steel late summer green handles.
Now sprints
Endura with Damascus like the Delica last year will be here in March
Caly 3 carbon fiber and Damascus September delivery.

More soon!

I figured that was a mistake (a good possibility the way that thing was written).
A stealth Chaparral doesn't make a lot of sense to me. A tactical black, titanium gentleman's folder? But we'll see.

Even though I still need to send in my Chaparral, I am intrigued by the Ti/XHP variant that's coming. The Damascus Caly 3 is a must for me. It would be nice if the CF was twill rather than smooth version.

I keep searching Nutnfancy's channel for the Spyderco video. Say what you will, but he provides some of the best coverage from SHOT.

I am afraid that this is unlikely, but I love the idea. I would apply the same to Caly3.5. Also I wish this knife would have solid blade.

If you are refering to the play on the 3.5...I totally agree. I say fix that issue before releasing more.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant solid blade vs. laminated. I didn't have any play on my Calys, currently I own 5 of various flavors.

Wow it still seems so soon after brown Matriarch sprint for some kind of production model.

So there will be another regular Matriarch in addition to an even smaller iteration?
