I though I lost my orange ladybug 3. I figured it dropped out of my pocket somewhere or at the firehouse, but I pretty much called it a loss. I was annoyed because the knife was discontinued and was my only ladybug. So I ordered the orange one from county comm. a few days after I placed the order...there was my ladybug under a mess of stuff in my room lol. Oh well, now I have two and my H1 has served me well.

Didn't lose or misplace my knife, but had a somewhat similar scare a couple of nights ago when I went to a comedy show that was held at a local bar/club/pool hall. Forgot that this place had bouncers that actually patted you down and had to give up my sb caly 3.5... Bouncer said I could get it back but obviously this didn't keep me from worrying about it throughout the entire show :(

Thankfully the same bouncer was there when we left, so I got my knife back and proceeded to cuddle it for a short period of time before carefully putting it back in my pocket. (not without a few sighs from my girlfriend - who is still trying her hardest to understand)

I "almost lose" a knife about once a week. They turn up in various locations like pants pockets, couch cracks, blankets, under the bed. My wife can attest that I am generally a wreck until I find the missing spydie. It drives her nuts and she always knows when I am in search mode. Until the missing family member turns up its hard to relax.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

I know how you feel! I lost the pivot cap on my lightweight walker; needless to say, I haven't eaten in weeks. :(

Glad you found it Blerv. Would have sucked to have lost it. That is the one downside of carrying a nice knife/flashlight/whatever. There's always the chance of losing the dang thing.

This summer I was clearing some brush and lost my Tasman Salt not once but twice in one day. I thank God I bought the yellow one as I was able to find it both times.

Last winter I lost one of my flashlights during a snow storm. Thought it was gone but someone found it for me the next day.

Come to think about it I lost another flashlight this summer and someone found that one for me.

Seems I lose it a lot but finally get it together in the end :)
