Aside from some slight differences in handle shape and clip placement, it is pretty much a scaled up version. The liners are full in the XL.
I have too many expensive hobbies to even consider another one.

Clip location completely kills it for me. Looks ridiculous. placement and shape. Although it was in the same place on the old one, maybe it didn't bother me b/c it was black an not polished? And less dainty looking?

I mean, I will get one once it comes out in a fun steel and a color I like, but crap, that is a terrible clip.

Thanks BSBG, I'm a little disappointed that the liners are not skeletonized.

the XL manix 2 is a home run for spyderco.... they really did a great job!!!! Now we need an s90v sprint :D

I love the Manix XL because it is an XL! Whatever other version they decide to come out with, will enter my modest collection of spydies. Love that knife!
