Beautiful knife. I'll have to admit I find deep belly blades a little difficult to use, at least for my cutting chores, so this one I'll just have to admire from afar.

Look at t like this. The longer it's unavailable, the longer we get to keep our money. Least that kinda works for me.

I'd love to have this model, sadly, it's quite a bit out of my price range. Looks and sounds like a beaut though :)

Has anyone handled the Lionsteel Aluminum SR-1 in comparison with the Lionspy? I really love how thin the G-10 looks in the pictures in this thread's OP, but I think the single piece construction of the SR-1 is very elegant. I would apprectiate if anyone could weigh in that has held both. Thanks,

I have a Lionsteel SR-1 Titanium, but I just can't get warmed up to it. The Lionspy however, may actually work for me. I think the problem with the SR-1 has to do with the lack of a hole.........

Cool knife, just a tad over the 3.5" blade limit here. I hate when that happens.

where is here? You could always grind it down if you're that concerned about the law.

To be completely honest, I grew up in LA, where I carried a Police for MANY years, I had to use in after being attacked. I put it into my assailant's ribs 3-4 times and thru his cheek once "he attacked me from behind with a MagLite". The cops kept my blade, and that was ALL... There is a 3" limit there and my police was what, 4+? Years before "when I was a young A-hole" I spent 5 days in jail over a legal, exposed, skinning knife, charges changed a coup,e times before *reduced* to concealed weapon "was NEVER concealed... The point is "no pun intended  " that if the law wants to screw around with you, they're gonna, but if you're obviously not the A-hole, they'll most likely warn you about size and say "have a nice day"..... Lol, I say BUY IT!

I got my XHP Manix 2 from GPKnives. Like you, I had pre-ordered the knife and it seems that I got mine very quickly. Hopefully your experience is as positive as mine was.
