I'm on the other other side of the fence here. Light weight, no liners, small swedge and tip down carry are exactly why I love the Caly Jr. I wouldn't complain if it came clipless though...

ZDP steel in BRG with the opening mechanism similar to the black handle zdp Caly Jr. That is by far the smoothest opening Spyderco knife I have ever encountered. I could open and close the knife just by pressing the lockback.

Nice. I've been regretting selling my caly jr about 2 years ago. Micarta would be awesome !

I hope Seki still has the serration wheels of the Calypso, so Spyderco could make some in full SpyderEdge as well :D
My FRN Calypso Jr/SE. is a real serrated pocket light sabre.
Wishful thinking of course, but it would be nice :)

I've heard nothing but absolute praise of this knife. I'd love to see a sprint run appear. I think Sal's hints are like a baited hook dangling in the water and we, of course are the innocent, unsuspecting fish. Ok, not so innocent (or unsuspecting). :D

As I have said before I have all 9 variations NIB except SS PE
which was re-edged and refurbished by Spyderco. I just got 2 NIB new
old stock C52SBK Calypso Jr.'s in the mail from Botach Tactical. Mfr. dates
2001. $60 each. I may have gotten the last two........ They also
list SE navigator 2's for $50.
