Looks like the orange is really favored. I'd be down, as I don't have any orange :spyder: yet :)

A black, DLC coating would be fantastic, regardless of handle material/color.

I was thinking of H1 with blue... but if it's in ZDP, then yes, orange.

I would love a Dragonfly with H1 or ZDP in Orange or Toxic Green (No black blade!).

Well guys, in the end it's Sal & the team who decides.

No offense, but it takes more than 5 or 6 replies in order to have a consensus on model and blade steel. Polls should be created and left open for around a week to get maximum input as many members are not on every day.

As mentioned, it's highly unlikely we will get a 600 piece run made for a forum knife. That's what is required for a Seki made model.

New to the forum (been onboard for about a week). Voted OD Green as all the spydies I own currently are with black FRN or G10. But hey whatever the final product is sounds good. Would probably be a lot better deal than my command's Kimber design (damned thing is expensive and out of my price range at the moment).

Never had an "exclusive" knife before so it will be awesome as it is Spyderco, whether the design is forum driven or something Sal comes up with. Now if there was a forum Native 5 that would be sweet!!!!!!

How about Dialex just designs a knife specifically for this forum?

Whatever is decided upon would be fine be me, but since the knive would represent Spyderco and it's Forum, imo it should be somewhat unique. I would trust Sal's judgement in the matter. That being said, I would not prefer FRN. Hope all have a happy and safe Labor Day.

I would be on one of Alex's designs like white on rice!

I'd like a Dragonfly in the Stag Arms Manix2 look; love the dark green G10 Spyderco used for that knife, the all black hardware, and S30V steel.

Smurf blue g-10!!! It could be the baby brother of the Manix 2 Sprint and Sage 3. Too bad it can't have an American steel because S30V would complete the package nicely :)

I didn't vote because i always thought a Spyderco forum knife would be perfect with a red G10 handle and a black blade. Those are sort of the Spyderco colors. Think of how sweet a red and black Dragonfly would be.

I could totally get behind that.

And although many would disagree, I also think a black blade, black clip, toxic green handle would be pretty awesome.
