I'll most likely go with the all round. What do you mean by finished spine? Do you mean rounded off instead of squared off? I might someday pickup a fire starter to play with and want the spine squared off.

The spines on the original ones are not smoothed out after the stamping out of the blades. The topQ, and the bushcraft models are finished, not rounded but square off so you can still strike a fire rod. The original ones are squared off as well, just not finished or polished..
The one on the right is a 711 and the left one is a topQ in stainless steel.

I would go with the Clipper Carbon Steel. They are very common and go for about $10. I have half a dozen of them for various purposes.

Hmm I was thinking that. Since I am going for an inexpensive good knife, I might as well go for the most inexpensive inexpensive knife.

The all around is 9.98 for carbon ;-)
