I actually find this topic a bit annoying, I think most buyers know their intent when purchasing a knife , If it changes once purchased then that is fine too. To ask others what to do seems odd to me. Its a collectible tool. Any knife is no matter the price or the rarity. Its personal. Like collecting sea shells. I personally have plenty of knives to edc but I purchased the Para 2 sprint to collect. I also bought the new tanto Lum to collect. Just 1 . Not interested as an investment. I just like knives. Do I not buy a knife because I don't plan to use it? What should I do with my money then? I have very few other interest that require me to be a consumer. I like buying what I like and that is knives. What people do with them is their choice and there is no right and wrong answer . If there weren't users and safe queen collectors there wouldn't be a Spyderco that we know today. So like BH said , enjoy it any way you feel fit. :)
