Full SpyderEdge of course :D
After carrying and using a fully serrated Spydie after a looooong time I rediscovered that nothing cuts as good as a fully serrated Spyderco.

And serrations in H1 REALLY rock

Haven't looked at the salt series that much, honestly. Looks like it would make a decent river knife though. Definitely SE if I were to get one.

With H1 steel I prefer SE. The PE portion of my Caspian Salt sharpened very well and easily. SE doesn't need to be touched up yet :)

anything in H1 should be SE. It will hold up 100% better than PE. i made the poor choice of buying a PE salt 1 instead of the SE and now I rarerly use it because it gets dull easy Ill grab for my SE tasman instead.

Okay, I ordered the SE, but when I do my next order, a PE will be on it.

- best wishes, Jazz.

I'll be ordering the PE very soon. I've been looking forward to this one for a while.

About 2 years ago, I bought a Pac Salt in SE and just never ended up carrying it. Ultimately, I sold it and my only other SE Spyderco, a D4. I'm sure the full SE cuts aggressively but for my varied EDC tasks, I just haven't found a role for it.

Gotta agree with my buddy Arend.

Just wondering if any one can tell me the difference in rockwell rating between the H-1 plain edge and serrated edge??

I already have my Atlantic Salt in SE, so would make the Dfly PE.

I have read reports indicating about Rc58 for the PE and Rc68 (!) for the SE in H1.

My SE Salt 1 just cuts forever cutting lots of cardboard, and if I did that with a PE, I'd be sharpening all the time. That's all I know - I love H1 serrations.

- best wishes, Jazz.
