That says a lot about the guy, He has a heart. I haven never bought from CS but I have spent hours looking then I go to my local dealer. There prices are higher but I just enjoy handling a knife before I purchase it and I am less indecisive.
I have bought things online and have never had anything lost. Not a couple things but 100's. I have a good relationship with my postman and woman and when in town at the post office I always leave with a smile cause they are believe it or not nice folks .
Smoothone what kind of interactions do you have with your postman? If what happened to you were to happen to me I would be concerned that he left a package somewhere that it could be stolen . I hope you discussed with him a way to possibly avoid this happening again on his end.

yeah we have many "protocols" signed up for after the scene i caused and the police report etc. first i pay $2.00 to $2.75 generally for insurance then i pay $1 for signature confirmation. and i allow the two neighbors to the left and right of me to be able to sign for my packages. i have at least 3-4 a week sent. and i can't afford to loose out just cause they have DCN's and some d-bag took it from my porch and i can't fight! who pays for the other item i lost? who has the $76 dollars to pay for my other thing stolen/lost? not usps, not payapl, not ebay. all cause of the DCN.
so its his word against mine. and of course my "carrier" said he left it on the porch both days in a row and both disappeared before i got to them...
i was home and it "came a day early" than the expected delivery date slip paper info. which does not happen a lot. i'm still out $76. no money to replace my purchase.
so thank god for jeff to replace half of what i lost AND shipped it to me free.... :)
thanks jeff!

CS is awesome, if they have what I want, I try to order it from them. Always get a quick response from Jeff.

well jeff here is the part where i would say thank you for the free superleaf but its gone AGAIN! i stood there waiting with my iphone recording the whole thing and the carrier said "no package today."paper in hand, i fought with him and showed him the paper with the dcn on it and that it says "its coming today" and called the police on him and to make another incident report about it. they did and now i have an open file against "gerard" my new local carrier. so jeff i thank you for the gesture but no $35 dollar black 79mm rescue and no free superleaf. but thanks for the offer. i really do appreciate it very much. i guess i am just not meant to have that model. and yet i got a cheap zippo refill butane torch delivered fine yesterday....so wtf is going on here? i have ten pounds of paper: police reports, FOIA request, inspector general of the usps office forms and for what....!!!???
i will never see that stuff again. i know. i'm so f'ing mad!
anyway thanks again, take care jeff!
i sent that to jeff a minute ago....
what f'ing luck with this!
what did i do? i'm nice, i'm charitable, i give for free to people here and on other forums. i am a nice guy. i work hard for my money. i deserve a break in life!
why is god f'ing with me?

Most definitely a reason for the Postal Inspector to get involved. Someone has their sticky fingers in your mail. Any way you can get it sent to your work place or a trusted friend with a PO box? That is assuming one does get shipped again.

Another vote / endorsement for Jeff at CS. Top-notch service. Even if his prices were higher than the others, I'd stick with him. Service matters more than cheap price to me. So, the bonus is that he's competitive price-wise. But, he works hard for his customers. And, after buying nearly 40 knives from him, I think I can offer a qualified opinion! :)

That's disturbing.

I hope they catch the ******* responsible. And kudos for Jeff at CS.

thanks for the kind words everybody! and yes i agree about jeff being a bad *** mf'er when it comes to customer satisfaction.
its my postal carrier people. the i.g of the usps is after gerald's *** now! but no superleaf for me though. and jeff, as nice as he is, won't do it again.
i have a multi grey para's on the way. i will be standing there with my iphone and shipping dcn paper and if he does not hand it to me i will call the cops (a cop i know in my town i grew up with) right there on the spot and say "it has never been delivered" so it can't be "stolen" yet...

Be nice if the Postal Inspector could go to his house and find your knife to deliver it to you. Assuming it's not on ebay or at a pawn shop.

obviously don't take advantage of his good nature or "expect" it but i am sure if some of you long time users of c.s would get yourself in the same situation and stuff got stolen he would somehow make it right! i am floored by his good heart and kind words! he was also trying to cheer me up. saying the right things. not generic, flowery b.s talk ...just the minimal "i'll make it right for you" kind of email response.
i appreciated that the most! thanks jeff!
take care!

Is this one going FedEx or UPS to avoid the sticky fingered thief? Or maybe via the post office with a GPS tracker to see where it goes. Registered mail maybe, you do not want to mess with Registered Mail.
I hope this one gets to you.
