What are you excited about from Amsterdam?
For me the #1 is the Squeak ... got to have at least 2 (the girlfriend has 'reserved' one already) and if I have some spare money then a Chaparral will definitely be on the list ... maybe a Manix 2 FRN too :)
My spydies: Squeak, Tenacious, Terzuola, D'Allara, UKPK CF peel-ply pre-production, UKPK CF smooth pre-production, UKPK G10 orange leaf-blade, UKPK FRN grey drop-point, UKPK FRN maroon leaf-blade, Bug ... all PE blades :)

Of course I like them all but the one that looks most promising as a user is the Chapperal. The ones that caught my eye in the "I want that!" sense were the Native V, Squeak, Tuff, and Navaja.
I am really intrigued by the grippy TI scale of the tuff. It would be cool to see this on some other knives too.
Thinking way ahead of course but how about a TI Chapperal for a sprint?

The Chaparral, Byrd Tern, Squeak, Junior, SS Balance, Manix FRCP, Yo2. Way more than I can afford right now. I'm sure there are one or two that I haven't seen yet that will go on the wish list.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

I believe Sal has stated that they have not one, but TWO Titanium scaled Chaparral versions they are planning...I guess great minds think alike, eh :D . I think they are planned for regular production down the line.npueppke wrote: Thinking way ahead of course but how about a TI Chapperal for a sprint?
Also, he mentioned a Chaparral Slip-it...that's the one that gets me excited!
Awesome! Not big on slip-its but would love to see a TI lockback chaparral. The Mentaculous wrote:I believe Sal has stated that they have not one, but TWO Titanium scaled Chaparral versions they are planning...I guess great minds think alike, eh :D . I just hope Sal didn't give up on making the Tuff out of 3V. It's probably going to sell well as it's the only non custom with 3V on the market. 3V already has name recognition with us knife knuts. I'm not sure about regular Joe's though and how they would look at the knife.
Marketed to outdoors types and police/military as what it is should sell it. There are a lot of people who do pry, drill, twist out of cuts etc. with their knives.
I watched a show about Customs on the Mexican border. It had the hardest use of knives I've ever seen folding knives go through. They were taking cars apart with just pocket knives. They even cut open fuel tanks with pocketknives, and sawed stuff.
