Anyone already got theirs yet? I'm wondering if it's possible to remove the micarta scales, screw the clip directly on Ti handle and have a thin Ti frame knife.

You hurt my feelings. :( New Graham Knives is AKA "our favorite pharmacy". It is true, they are pharmacy as well and will send you band-aid as well.
They are the best.

I passed when it was on sale at KC, but when it went on sale at CS, I decided to pick one up. Figured I would regret not having one if I passed on it. It's currently in the mail system, working its way closer and closer to me. I'm excited to try it out. I'm not a huge fan of the white micarta, so I may play around with modifying it.

Cutlery Shoppe (but the Phoenix is no longer available)

When Knife Center ran out, I checked CS on Friday and they had them. I believe they were already gone Saturday and the knife was no longer listed. Also gone: orange and FG G-10 UKPK (@ $66 each IIRC), CE Stretch 2 ($39), ZDP FRN Stretch 2 ($76), and there may have been one or two others.

I got my order from CS today. Man, Jeff works fast! The Phoenix is much smaller than I had imagined and mine isn't particularly sharp (easy to fix). But at the fire-sale price, it's a spectacular deal. At the $310 MSRP, I would have felt that it was far over-priced. The micarta has a very nice feel to it, but I don't care for the color and will probably end up modding it in the future.

Do not worry, you didn't this time. :) I never had business with CS.

Great news. Now I can save some money, at least for a little while. :)
Too much money spent in September.

Well, I got my eBay Phoenix today. I have to say, I'm liking it way more than I ever expected. Based on pictures, I've always considered the Phoenix one of the weirdest, gaudiest looking knives ever. But, I couldn't pass on the price, considering I should easily be able to get my money back selling it.

But, I find it's much, much better looking in person. It's also smaller and lighter than I imagined, very nicely balanced, and very comfortable in hand. Now I'm debating whether to carry it, or keep it nice and NIB. Still waiting to see if I actually get one from KC. If so, I'll definitely carry one, at least occasionally. I'm impressed!

Since I missed out on the Phoenix at CS, I got one from NGK. Just received it today and it's a handsome knife. I agree that it's not that sharp but so far, people at work are Wowed by it. I'm very happy I decided to get it.
