The only company willing to make A LOT of full flat grind models with supersteels like ZDP, S90V, CTS-XHP and etc. Other brands are just form over function, some are only tacticool with relatively crappy steel, so so fitment, but with a strong lock

Customer Service is top notch too!
I recently helped a friend in Thailand contact Charlynn about a replacement clip screw for a C15 Bob Terzoula. Not only did she find the right screws (out of about 45+/- that Spyderco uses on their knives), but she sent them, free, to Thailand!
How many companies will even look to see (let alone actually HAVE) parts for a model they quit making over 10 years ago? And then ship them, free of charge, overseas to another country?

Spydercvo knives are great because the people who make them care about their customers!
That is the most important part for me.
Spyderco has a business model that will keep me a customer for life. Having access to, and interacting with the administration and owner is amazing. They do their best to cater to what we want.

The knives are "designed in the dark" purely for use. Objects designed in this way nearly always look beautiful, because that is exactly how mother nature designs things.
