Here's an idea--not convenient for many, but how about Bradford, PA (NW) and a tour of Case/zippo? Then could draw from mid-atlantic, new england, ohio?

I like the idea of the meet-up being held somewhere in Golden, CO, around the same time as the SFO sale. Heck, I'm in Indiana and would make the trip out for that.

To state the obvious, we are all so spread out that it will be hard to find a location that suits most of us.

I'm still interested, though.

That shouldn't be a problem either. Every year Northeast Cutlery Collectors Association have several knife shows. That can be a good place to meet with spydernuts. We are knifenuts too.

I would be game, of course I would suggest Kansas, because it's in the middle of the U.S. :D Also knife laws aren't too bad around here...

Mike is martial blade camp still open? I talked to a buddy of mine we want to go just might have to wait til next year to save up the funds. Of course tax returns would help. Man what an idea tax return to fund knife training BRILLIANT!!

Why don't we do a series of small, regional meetups? It might be easier to organize each one in its own thread, then? Since I don't think I'll be up for any big road trips soon, I'll organize one in the San Francisco area.
