SE Hawkbills are very aggressive

Tony I couldn't agree with you more ;) And please everyone keep in mind that we are not talking just any serrated blade. The Spyderedge is truly in a league of it own  And when you combine the Spyderedge in an agressive Hawkbill design you have one very mean cutting machine.

And I can see why most Spyderco Hawkbills are a garden favorite. Because when you take a blade like the H-1 Spyderhawk you are literally sawing through anything tough or fibrous or any type of vine growth and making it child's play.
Long Live the SPYDEREDGE Spyderco Hawkbills RULE!!

Never needed a serrated blade for what my plain edge will handle. The Harpy is in my EDC rotation and quite useful. Just scares the crap out of some when drawn. :D

It's all about what works for you. Personally I love the SE hawks. I used to be all about only SE but I have since changed. I love some of my PE knives just as much (LH Mili and my favorite is my Adventura). But when it comes to my hawks... i like a set of teeth.

Although not my favourite knife, I must admit that my SS PE Crossbill has done a righteous job of tearing through clam packs, opening cardboard boxes, etc...It is a very solid, sturdy knife. I don't think the knife realizes that it's PE, it does the job! :spyder:

I love the scratches and worn clip - looks like mine and gives it character. I mostly like PE, but my Tasman SE at work rips it up every day. :)
