A big stretch would be awesome!

Everyone here knows my passion for large folders , it is a wait and see for me . I am happy with the offerings from Spyderco in the line up so something will have to trip my trigger that is new to be offered in the future . Regards MG2

I have always wanted a bigger folder than my large manix -a big stretch would be awesome or a jumbo manix-

Large folders are great! As long as they carry well.
Have several 4"+ folders. The slim ones seem to get carried more.
No back lock though......
Not on a big one.

For a home defense blade I could see it, but I'd always like the option to carry it too.
Salt Lake-no blade length limits

I'm certainly very happy to hear about some really large Spyderco folders on the horizon. The 5" Szabo sounds great!
So far, to get really big folders, I've purchased CS and Sog. Unlike many, I think these companies make perfectly good knives for the money. Spydercos ,of course, are made out of more expensive materials and I can hardly wait to carry a new 5" beauty in my waistband. Spyderco is branching out in exciting directions these days. I've had my Warrior for about a month now and it is ,and always will be, uber cool.

I have ridden with several police officers in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. I have asked about blade length. In WY there really is no official blade length regulation, but they tend to go by Colorado's laws as far as Fixed blades go. Folders seem to be skies limit. Just as long as the knife is not OTF.
