I'm really intrigued by the handle. It looks very ergonomic and conforming to the hand's grip.

That being said, I do have a somewhat "simplistic" question for those that have BOTH models and have used them; which blade style seems to "mate" more with the handle? The drop point or the pseudo-upswept blade?

Not really much of issue I know (personal preference can reign here), but I believe to some degree, there is a blade/handle interface that happens, something like workable vs. comfortable vs. optimal in terms of design?

I wish to know something about resharpening The Bill Moran blade can be possible with sharpmaker?
The latest models come with G-Clips or still with Tek lock?

Vito, the last one I got didn't have a Moran edge, it was just a standard v-grind. So yes, it's easily sharpened on the Sharpmaker.

The latest also came with a G-clip instead of Teklok.

Well, I won't promise you good pictures, but I'll try to take a few when I get home from work today. I can put in a Mule, Rock Salt, Aqua Salt, Swick, Forester and Temperance.

I don't have the absolute latest version of the Moran with the hole in the blade, but I do have some earlier and later ones.

Another very intresting its street beat, i have only folders and its a lot of time i wsh to buy a fixed. I want have one expecially for utility outdoor and food preparation if necessary.

Well, it is a lousy picture, but it's still a picture. I just noticed that I forgot to put the Aqua Salt in there as well.

The Morans get newer as you go up the picture. The two at the bottom are mirror polished on the blade, the two newer ones have a satin finish. Though they all seem to cut the same, the older ones did have a bit more style to them.

Thanks for picture,i was surprised because Moran blade-cutting edge look almost same size of military, my most used knife i think currently this one i prefer to others because i have great feeling when im cutting something almost without efforts.
Rock salt i think is not so big like i thinked.
But i think the best size for my scopes will be Moran and, the most affordable price too.
Im sure will be enough for everything i need.
Basically i need a fixed blade for using in woods for light bushcrafts scopes.and where is necessary food preparations expecially vegetables because im vegan so i dont need to cut meat or bones.
Probably hit the blade with something hard like wood pieces for cutting other pieces of wood is not safety...
But basically i think to buy soon a Moran its a lot of time im not sure witch one fixed spyderco its the best for my scopes im not sure between all of them...

The Rock Salt is not really too big at all. It's also a lot lighter than it looks due to the thin blade stock, but it slices and chops great.

The Moran is a fantastic knife and underrated by many. It is light, comfortable and does anything you ask of it. I will admit that the Mules have turned into my everyday fixed blades (S90V for the past few weeks), but the Morans were the first thing I grabbed to help my brother-in-law skin and carve up his elk this year. He was impressed enough that he plans on buying one in the next few months.

Depending on how you would use it, one of the Mules might be a better choice. The lower point and flatter, but still curved edge would probably be better for food prep than the Morans. Really, you can't go wrong.

I'll try to get a picture with the Temperance, Military, Mule, Aqua Salt and Moran later today.
