My "lightbox" is a microfiber towel thrown down on my front steps, lighting is whatever happens to be falling out of the sky, and camera is whatever I grab that the batteries are up. Usually the Nikon D40, Fuji S1000 or one of the 10MP Kodak point and shoots that I have laying on my desk. An artist I ain't. :D
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

Sounds interesting, what is it?
I have a "teleconverter" is that what you mean?
The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of meeting deadlines is forgotten.

I ended up getting the 6200DX i wanted the 6600DX but i only lose about 4 inches of total height. but 62" is probably all i will need.

nope, a teleconverter increases the focal length of the lens, it has glass in it.

an extension tube moves the lens out away from the camera body, allowing it to focus closer, in much the same way as a set of bellows (in fact it is almost the same, except you get the advangtages of Autofocus, TTL Metering and the lens stopping down automatically upon pressing the shutter.

basically just a hollow tube, with a mount on each end, and contacts for the aperture and Autofocus. (the expense in them is for the precision, between the front and back mounts)
power is nothing without control
