Actually M4 is way cheaper than S90V or ZDP and about the same as S30V.

Like I posted on BB when someone asked:

Stretch type blade in a slightly larger Sage. Would love to keep the choil of the Sage and have a slightly larger handle.

Ti framelock with either CF, micarta (light color) or G-11 on the non locking side.

Right hand deep carry Ti clip would be even better than the current wire clip

Any good steel would be fine (BG-42, VG-10, CPM D2, S30V etc... ) Damasteel would be a treat :D

How about a feature like shallower hollow grinds such as those found on kitchen knives? I wonder why I never see a hollow grind that extends the full height of the blade.

Hypothetically, M4 could be popular with the black coating which would bring its price up. How awesome would that be on the titanium handles?

Call it the “Native V” (unless this model is already in the works)

G-10 handles w/ steel liners
Screw construction
Mid lock-back (standard)
Full flat grind w/ swedge (like the C41CFP)
S90v plain-edge (though, I'd pick one up in either S35VN or S110V too... )
"Golden - made"

Basically a C41CF with “cheaper” handles and “better” steel...or, a G-10 version of the new forum knife???

hmmm..I would have to say my dream Spydie would be a slightly larger blade on the Caly 3, perhaps between 3.5" to 4".

The perfect Spydie, to me, is rather simple. Lime Green or blue FRN Calypso Jr. in H1 Steel with a titanium wire, low-rider clip.

Add H1 steel to that and I'd be very happy to buy one of those :D

Super Thin, tip up, 4", CF/ Ti frame lock in S90v, BG42 or ZDP 189.
Blade shape between a Military & Stretch. :D
Oh, and super deep pocket carry.

What do I win Sal?
Thats the one!

I've always wanted to see a solid Spyderco "S" without all of the laser cutouts on the blade & handle and different blade steel. Before anyone responds with a picture of a Salsa, I am already aware of the Salsa. I think the "S" sometimes goes unappreciated around these parts... :)

I would like a Waved H1 Superhawk with Spyderedge and a black coating. I think it would also have to have the signature Yellow FRN handle. Yup, Yup, that's what I would want. Oh, wait! No, Make that the same thing, but a Captain. Heck make em both. :p

Large and small Salt Wharncliffes with the existing FRN handles - though I wouldn't complain about VG10.

- best wishes, Jazz.

The Leafstorm to me is what I was looking for in an EDC folder for a long time, beautiful yet people friendly. I would just add the Wilkin's overbuilt pivot in blue Ti and Orange G-10. I am going to order this from him anyways, so I guess I am happy. :D

In general...more stonewash! I would love to see a stonewashed spydie! :spyder:

If you mean the original Police, not the G3 - I must agree with you! ;)

Easy,

Just bring back the G10 Standard/SE with a VG10 blade in it :D
Stretch the handle about 5 mm overall and there you have it :p

I like the Lum Tanto in SS. It would be hard to think of a cleaner looking knife but the one thing I would change is the slight bump by the spyderhole. The Viele didn't have one(a bump that is) and I think that's one of the things that makes it so smooth looking.

I wonder if Spyderco will ever issue and "open-assist" knife. They don't really need to because they open so wonderfully one handed as they are but I think that it's a cool feature on knives now.
