Mine rode with me today. It disemboweled a mango for lunch. This really is a great knife and I think I have carried it more than the Urban. If you are thinking about one don't hesitate.

I'm ambidextrous but usually carry lefty, have you tried using your forefinger/trigger-finger to open it?
I damaged my left thumbnail last year so for a while i opened all my Spyderco knives/thumbhole bladed knives with my forefinger.
It's not as fast as using the thumb but it does work.
Thats one of the reasons why i prefer blades with holes instead of blades with thumbstuds.

I don't own one, I just got the chance to handle the prototype. IIRC the action on the prototype was a bit too rough for an index finger opening. That technique works great for my Military btw.
