Mine rode with me today. It disemboweled a mango for lunch. This really is a great knife and I think I have carried it more than the Urban. If you are thinking about one don't hesitate.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

I came home tonight to find one in the mailbox.
:D
I wouldn't mind Jester-style jimping on the spine of the blade, and a thinner grind, but overall... wow. It's a sweet little knife.
I find myself wondering if anyone's made up replacement scales. Smooth red or blue bone would look nice on it.

I'm ambidextrous but usually carry lefty, have you tried using your forefinger/trigger-finger to open it?Mr Blonde wrote:Nice review, thanks for sharing. As was discussed, I did find left-handed opening too difficult but I have good hopes that -with sufficient sales- a left-handed variant could be in the works.

I damaged my left thumbnail last year so for a while i opened all my Spyderco knives/thumbhole bladed knives with my forefinger.
It's not as fast as using the thumb but it does work.
Thats one of the reasons why i prefer blades with holes instead of blades with thumbstuds.

I don't own one, I just got the chance to handle the prototype. IIRC the action on the prototype was a bit too rough for an index finger opening. That technique works great for my Military btw.tholiver wrote:I'm ambidextrous but usually carry lefty, have you tried using your forefinger/trigger-finger to open it?
