I can remember Sal saying something like no pics until it's less than 6 months away which is all fair enough, but perhaps he might be able to post some little "teaser" pics ...... Throw a dog a bone !

Awesome. Will it have an ambidextrous clip?

Well, I'm officially pre ordered on the Bradley M4 folder even though I know few details about it. I really hope it has an ambi clip for left handers like Thom an ambidexterous folks like myself. I have faith enough in Spyderco that they will put out a great knife, and my love of M4 (and the Mule's great heat treat of it) that I am willing to put my wallet out there even with only minimal details on this knife. A Spyderco folder in M4 is too hard to pass up.

You must be new here. Spyderco exists in its own warp bubble (nerd reference to Sci Fi science). Just because an item is scheduled and is on schedule does not mean that item is likely to meet its due date. Things happen and Syderco is so anal many things get pushed back to get it right. Some other companies seem to bend their own requirements to keep a project on schedule.

I have often wondered if a good programer/researcher could go through the forum archive and determine rules to predict the likelyhood of a slippery release date.

Look back to a number of significant releases and determine their "slippage" over time. It may turn out Golden and Seki-City made are predictors. The newness of the steel to Spyderco may also be a factor. On and on as the algorism matures.

Even Sal could appreciate an automated "slippage" program for new knives. ;) ) ;) ) ;) )
Not really all that slick ;)

Agreed and their knives are the better for it, but my response was to the criteria for releasing pictures not to the actual ship date of the knife. If the knife is SCHEDULED for release this year then we MUST be within the 6 mo window cited. Let's see some pictures.... Please??

As to the ACTUAL release of the knife, sure, it can vary significantly. Perhaps you are saying that we can't see pictures because the 6 mo. window is actually undeterminable??? Interesting take. I'd rather base it on scheduled release.

I saw pics of the ATR years before it arrived, so it's not an improbable request.

Have (12) in M4 now...... only (2) Mules from Spyderco.

Just trying to drum up some business for Sal.
I have heard rumors of that knife. Something about a 9-12 month wait for it? :D

I have no idea what a Gayle Bradley folder is, but if it's made from M-4, I want one! :p :p
