lil' Temp

I had a chance to handle one the other day and it is my new favorite Spyderco. It fits my XL hand perfectly and, while the blade is thicker, it narrows like a Calypso Jr.

I hadn't heard that it was definitely coming back until I read this thread. Are there any details?

Edit - Nevermind about that last question; I just found Sal's thread. Guess that thread didn't registar before because i hadn't handled one yet.

Jess Horn with any of the high end steels. G10 scales would be a plus, as long as the shape stayed the same.

you never know. I still have a hope. I even e-mail NGK for pre-order
spoonrobot wrote:I'd like to see the Shabaria come back; closer to the original concept. Searching through some very old threads I found that originally it was supposed to be similar in size to the Military. I think a size increase would have worked better for the knife, as it was released the handle was too small and the lock was less than ideal.
I heard some comments regarding small or uncomfortable handle on Shabaria.
I strongly disagree. I am about 6 feet tall and my hand fairly large. To the best of my knowledge Shabaria is the dagger and I have very comfortable grips when I hold it like a dagger.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

I would like to see Dyad Jr. or even large Dyad with jigged bone/stag scales. VG-10 is fine to keep the cost under $400 MSRP :D
It would be also awesome to see Jester with bolsters and the same scales.

I'd like a Titanium police with ZDP, BG42, or some other high end steel. Joe

Spyderco ProVenator -- I lost one in a tax cab in Chicago 9 years or so ago. I have missed it every since.

Dodo sprint please.

Post by ClockWork »

I would like to see the Dodo return.

If its a Sprint run... Or if its a "Dodo2"
Orange G10 would be awesome.... or the Natural "G11" from the Leafstorm. Both would make for a very unique sweet knife.

Maybe you could make it in Seki w/ VG-10 steel. The design is not that far off from the new G10 Poliwog.

Thanks

Navigator I

#36

Post by dialex »

The full size Persian would be great.
But what I'd really love would be an updated Navigator I: same shape, G-10 handles, nested compression lock, wireclip, VG-10 blade and CobraHood™. It would make for my perfect little big knife.

I would love for the Q to return (I know the "S" is close, but I really like having the :spyder: laser cut into the blade, not just the web) since I lost mine in Brasil and now they are too expensive to replace. Also, I'd love to see the return of the full size Persian as well as the Dodo.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Zowada again. Loved that pointy blade.

The C50 as an all titanium framelock with S30V blade and 4-way carry would be a dream. :D
