Spiky flowers have been known to be harvested in Seki, Japan as well as Colorado, USA :D However, it has been rumoured that they love the Australian scenery more :p

Here are a few of Yojimbo and their FB cousin the Ronin:

Photoshop? No blade bolt and the lanyard hole would stop it from opening. Very cool though.

Is it just me... or is that jimping on the Yojimbo spine seam extra?

On every Yoji I've seen, the jimping is only on the first "facet" and not further towards the tip on the second angle facet.

The jimping looks pretty similar between the 2 sections. If it were a modd... i think it would be hard to get it that close after the Heat-Treat... IDK?

Did it come from the factory like that?

Thanks

As Daniel will attest, it came from the factory like that, one of the very rare anomalies that can occur even in the best-run of businesses........ ;)

That was the only Yojimbo I have seen that has jimping on both spines. It is from the factory like that. No one else in this forum or elsewhere has owned up to having another one like it.

My Yojimbo twins have now departed my photography studio and is in the loving possession of another crazy Australian collector. It was either I use them or pass them on to another collector. Bug now has them :D :p I know he will enjoy them... won't you Brian :p ;)

Having such a force as JD behind an idea almost guarantees its success!
Let's promote a package deal - Tanto and SS Dyads :D

On a more serious note... this one is quite rare - C53 Herbst Titanium.
I think this is one of the smoothest knives Spyderco ever made.

Nice one WhyNot :D I've always wondered about this curious blade from Spyderco - one of the few with milled out multicoloured solid handles.... oh hang on.... is it the only one of that description ?

Here is one of my favourite EDC's - rarish Large Persian. This one is the bog standard factory version.

How about Ramco/Spyderco Laguiole:
