First of all, nice review and pics!

I've set my eyes on the Khukuri but before I commit, could someone please post (or point me to) a picture of the knife from above? If you happen to have a Para for comparison, that'd be great, but just the Khuk would help a lot. I like the blade shape and negative angle (and the variety of possible grips and what not) a lot but would in general also prefer a thinnish grind as it suits my uses much better. Based on specs this is thinner than Para (3mm vs 4mm), but then again, so is Saver Salt, which compared to Para feels a lot thicker due to how the blades are tapered, ground, etc.

Thanks for the video. I wish every review for knives had something like that. It makes it much easier to get an idea of how the knife would handle and what angle the blade sits at when gripping the knife.

Good review. I've been attracted to the design for a while but after seeing that video I know that's a knife that would work well for me.

Hey Vivi what happened to your UKPK videos on youtube? Can you post some sharpening videos again because I want to make my UKPK as sharp as yours. :)

I removed all my videos a while back. I could make a video detailing how I sharpen my knives and make a thread for it if you'd like.

Hey that would be great, I spent about 20 minutes on sharpening the UKPK but it is still not at the sharpness I want it to be. :confused:

Very interesting review Wouter. Thanks! Thought provoking...this one was not really on my radar, but you put it in the same league as one of my favorite folders, my edc, the Caly3. Great pictures too.
