Thank you very much for taking the time to reply and participate.

I live in Los Angeles, CA and that knuckle is indeed, important. I work with many restaurants and wineries and so opening wine is kind of a benefit/hazard of my job.

I think the concept based on the picture of the silver knife above, the one with the longer and slimmer blade, and the corkscrew cover, could be implemented with a better corkscrew and a double jointed lever instead of a corkscrew cover. Maybe a little wider case to accomodate an Endura or Delica blade.

I will search on the Internet for Dialex.

Thanks again.

Cheers,
Roy

Hello guys!

Ups! Nearly a year has gone since this thread opened, but now is the time when I exactly need what luigisdad started to describe. I will be a waiter on a cruise ship and I will need a good device like this. We call it "drekó" (dreko, dreco) - the 1st picture of 1st post. I would need a drekó with pocket clip and one hand opening small little bit hawkbill like blade. Okay luigisdad, it would be a real EDC... But an EDC-like knife also would be nice. I hope Sal will make some model like this. I'm wondering what would be the ideal name of it? "Waiter" / "Waitress"? "Winelovers friend"?

Same concept from Technocut/Viper

Here is a knife with the same concept, but from Technocut/Viper:

It's horribly expensive, and doesn't look nice IMHO. I would like :spyder: like this, and not with holster, but with clip! If we take 1$ for 200 Hungarian Forints, it is about 188$!!! It is a horrible price for that, isn't it???

Hands up, who agree with me! ;)
Rusty blades are awful.
Girls with rusty hair are wonderful!!!
