exactly... :D

Its like the the best of both worlds. So far its a hot candidate for the 08 season for me.

The choil and the ambidextrous clip are really selling me on this knife. I love the Endura 4, but the one thing I would improve is the grip, to make it more like the Caly3 that is my absolute favorite EDC. This Police, as pictured, does just that, and it does it in black G10, and it does it with a bit of extra blade! :D

Looks like a winner to me, too. But please, put no foliage green scales on it. Try dark blue, or black. But no foliage green.

Finally a super sized Spyderco utility folder.
Maybe if this goes over well Sal will be more willing to make a 5" folder.

Yes! I like foliage green, but that knife in blue would look amazing.
Ask me where I got my awesome SUPERHAWK!

More like Mid-Cal now

It wouldn't surprise me at all to find out that Kristi has or is giving the model some pocket time. Kristi has good taste in knives. :) Joe

That is nice. May I ask, is it going to be production or sprint run?

Only the Spyderfolk can say for sure, but if I were a betting man, I'd bet on production. Limited production perhaps, like the Stretch II, but still production. To my way of thinking, there is just too much new tooling involved for a Sprint. If it had just been a <insert color other than black here> reissue of the G-10 Police, then it would probably be a Sprint, but aside from sharing the D4 type clip which seems to have become the new de-facto standard, this is a whole new knife.
