I believe that either Sal or Kristi did say that it would be available to us on the 10th of December (today).
I also can't wait. :D

I woke up this morning, and headed straight to the computer, to check if the 2008 catalog was out.
No luck yet.
I'll keep checking!

Hi there, for us (in Europe) the 10th is nearly over. I still hope to be able to download the catalogue any time now.

Count your blessings guys. While Spydie fans are pining over the absense of a catalog, fans of three other related knife companies pine over the absense of knives. At least Spydie fans have access to many models of of great knives.

We should make predictions for the catalog in these (hopefully) final hours before its release. At least that'll keep me distracted enough from clicking reload.
I'll go first:
*Something with a rescue-like blade, with G10 handles.
*Many more ball-lock blades. Seriously. Like 2-4 new ones we haven't heard about yet.
*A new hard-use folder, using the ball lock, and a flat-ground ZDP blade. Think Manix replacement.
*More benchstones.
Thanks about it that I think are *really* likely right now.
How about you guys?

Okay, I'm in for the prediction thing.
Let me see... I predict a new hawkbill, with... Peel-ply carbon fiber scales, a compression lock, and (dare I predict it?) a full-flat grind. I also will make the prediction of all predictions by guessing its name:
I predict that it will be called...
The EnduraHawk II
Lol, but seriously. I'm hoping for some more knives with the low-rider wire clip, and some more gentleman's knives.
And for my crazy prediction of the night, I predict...
A Byrd fixed blade!

Almost looks like we won't get it today
I can't wait to see the new linerlocks. Spyderco always makes wonderful linerlocks.

I was under the impression that they were the model names.

Oh O.K. thanks. I was confused because I thought they were the names of the designers.

the only ones I have slated to add to the collection are the viele phoenix, G-10 Delica, and maybe the urban.
