Great choices, Harry! My squirts have lasted long than any of my other multitools, somehow (but still inevitably break), and the douk-douk is one fearsome slipjoint! enjoy! :D

I'm curious to see how the widgie bar works for you, I've heard they rust super easy.

I'm pretty sure that the one by Fred Perrin is the one with the extended tang. There is a picture of it here on this French Douk-Douk site http://www.douk-douk.com/autres/custom.htm. It's second to the bottom.

If anyone knows how to get ahold of either of these blades, the Fred Perrin or the thumbstud version, it'd be greatly appreciated.
