I agree with the BG42 millie. IMO, it's one of the best Spyderco's ever made. A very well balanced cutting tool in an excellent steel that isn't often seen, especially at it's price range. Joe

Ditto on the BG-42 CF Millie -- the first Spyderco I pull out when I want to "show off" that Spyderco quality.
To answer the original question: the Ocelot. I've been toying with getting this one since I first laid eyes on it. Lost one in a bidding war on eBay today...

let's not forget the "extra" nested liner inside one of the scales that was "introduced" with the CF BG42 Millie....I believe zenheretic posted a pic of it some time ago....and IIRC this feature is now "standard" on the newer G10 Millies.......
Great knife that BG42 Millie....but my MUST HAVES will be the Tmag and Stretch2.....

...What will you do when you find your LH PE Mariner and a LH PE Harpy?
Wont be the same without the thrill of the hunt!

One of my must haves is a PE JD Smith. I EDC a SE and I find it to be the most comfortable, especially IWB. Slim, smooth micarta, and a fairly low-profile clip.
As far as future releases go, the new Stretch is pretty enticing. Mebbe throw in a manual Samaritan...

Still haven't got my Ti ATR
BTW, what happens when you finally get "the knife"? Does another one take it's place or do you get that fulfilled feeling?
I used to collect guns. I always found a reason I needed to get a different model. Joe

I'd say getting repeats would take its place, just in case "the knife" gets stolen, misplaced, damaged, &c. Although I'm sure that there has to be a limit (dodges a Ronin thrown by Doc Snubnose).
And then there's always getting other knives, "just in case" this or that new one might be better. And so the cycle repeats...

What about you all--with your extenisve collections what one spyderco is still out there that you must have?
I am also fairly new and my "One Must Have Spyderco" is huge, so I even will not start. I would be few pages.

Hmm, seems to be quite a few on my list, but the one i am absolutely most interested in finding right now is a pre- tuffram Civilian.
Second would be a PE Tufram...
