I think my favourite grinding job of Mr. Krein's so far is the Doug Ritter M2 Griptilian: http://bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=451515

Almost makes me want to send mine in, but I just can't bring myself to modify it...

It is well worth it, both in performance and looks. It becomes so much easier to sharpen and cuts much better. My ZDP Caly Jr. with the Krein high hollow grind is a sight to behold, also. When you look straight down at the edge it is amazingly thin, almost invisible. It made a stock Caly Jr. look downright thick in a side by side comparison, as farsical as that sounds.

Catamount--how is the Endura holding up? I have a ZDP PE Endura4 on its way from New Graham, and I'm intrigued by your regrind. I am a little concerned about the potential fragility of the knife in its new configuration. Will it stand up to, say, whittling a tentpeg?

Hi Catamount.

Beautiful piece. Probably one of the first full-flat grinds on an Edura solid ZDP blade.

Let us know how it performs and holds up.

Sal, If it holds up would there be a possibility of a factory full flat ground Endura, ZDP or otherwise?
