[quote="Pete1977"]that is the ugliest looking knife i've ever seen. ship it to me and i'll dispose of it properly at sea. ]
Haha just thinking the same thing. Augustus that knife is awesome looking. If you ever feel like making another one lets talk. Serious!!

I seriously can't quit looking at this knife. I love GC Micarta. How hard was it to take the knife down? I"ve never tried anything but a green river belt blade. Right now it is sitting in the garage because I don't know how to do the inset for the cutlery rivets. If I can't buy one I would be willing to try to make one. That's one **** fine looking knife.

May I ask about it?

Thanks for the compliments.
I'm super busy right now, but if you can wait a while maybe we can work something out. Taking the Cara Cara apart is pretty simple. Making a handle without a lot of tools can be a real pain. I have lots of power tools that makes the job fairly easy. I'll let you know when my plate clears up.

I have a stainless Robin PE that is just calling for some embellishment. I'm not crazy about super slim SS handle knives. The Robin would be perfect with a thicker handle and some warmth. I have several colors of canvas micarta, maple burl and buffalo horn that I purchased a while back with the intention of altering a few knives. Not sure which material to use yet.
